QUIC / HTTP/3

QUIC runs over UDP with built-in TLS 1.3, multiplexed streams without head-of-line blocking, faster connection setup (0-RTT resumption). HTTP/3 maps HTTP semantics onto QUIC.

  • Fixes TCP+TLS handshake latency on mobile networks.
  • Stream-level loss recovery—one slow object doesn't block others.
